Funding awarded to boost regional performing arts

In 2022, the HRCC was awarded $80,000 as part of the WA Government's In the House funding program.

The program sees almost $740,000 divided between ten venues and organisations across the State to help boost performing arts in regional communities.

Other venues and organisations to receive funding include Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre, Margaret River HEART and Albany Entertainment Centre.

In 2021, the HRCC was also awarded the Western Australian Presenter of the Year Award at the CircuitWest Pinnacle Awards ceremony for their support of the performing arts.

This saw the HRCC cement itself as a key stop for high quality production tours, alongside big players in the entertainment industry, including Albany Entertainment Centre and Arts Narrogin.

Following these great achievements, the HRCC has been able to expand it's reach, securing performances from big names such as Karen Knowles, Marina Prior and The Voice Australia 2023 winner Tarryn Stokes.

With community at the forefront, the HRCC strives to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for Harvey locals and visitors to come together to enjoy the vibrance and joy of the performing arts.
